Term 1 2017 saw us deliver a seven week program at the lovely Moerlina School in Mount Claremont.

We ran Maths Through Movement sessions with their littlest Pre-Kindy and Kindy students and creative dance workshops with the rest of the school. Our workshops focused on the four elements of dance, locomotor movement vs non-locomotor movement, and responding to different stimuli such as text and images.

It was fabulous to see the students able to explore their own movement abilities and to watch their confidence in creating and performing grow each week. The older students also had the chance to work collaboratively in groups and they showed fabulous communication and co-operation skills during these group activities.

We look forward to working with Moerlina again in the future!
